Recommended Items to Bring

General Tips

  • Business Sign

    • Create a sign with your child to be visible at your table. The sign can include the name of your child's business, product/service being sold and prices. Suggestion: You can tape this sign at the front of your table or frame it and have it sit on top of your table. 

  • Calculator

    • With your support your child can add up the total cost using a calculator.

  • Box to hold money and adequate change

  • Notepad and Pencil or Pen

  • Pre-made receipts (if your child is of age to manage this - you can find a receipt template on the Resource page.)

  • Fully charged cell phone (you will need this is you are accepting mobile payments)

  • Props to support your product/service

  • Remember  - this is a project for you and your child to work on together!  You can step in and support as much as you need to!  We don't expect your child to do this alone.  The overall experience they will gain from your support is priceless!

  • This fair is about the overall experience your child will gain from the process.  The product/service is important, but the skills your child will develop should be the focal point.  It's more about the experience gained from process, than the product.
